Beth Dunbar

Beth (she/her) is a health tech design researcher and epidemiologist with 10+ years experience optimizing domestic and global health technologies. Beth gets exceptionally excited about designing point-of-care technologies to support frontline healthcare providers (e.g Electronic Health Records or Community Health Worker apps). As a PhD student in human centered design and engineering, current projects include: reimagining patient consent for routine care in low resource settings; redesigning a project management toolkit for global health informatics projects; gathering requirements for an app to support people living with HIV in Jamaica; and exploring new ways to cost and evaluate digital health systems. She loves facilitating workshops, creating plans to evaluate tech, conducting user research, employing quantitative and implementation science research methods, working with the public sector, and supporting complex requirements gathering projects.
